Amontillado


URIUM clásicos

Amontillado is the result of the two very different types of ageing processes in Jerez, first biological under the "velo de flor" and then oxidative, thus ensuring that it retains both the elegance of a Fino and the roundness of an Oloroso.

A brilliant, amber coloured sherry, it has a delicate, deep bouquet of hazelnut shells, incense, vanilla, aromatic herbs and black tobacco. Gentle on the palate it combines balanced acidity with a lingering dryness of aromatic seasoned wood and dried nuts.

Ideal with vegetables such as asparagus, artichokes or mushrooms, it is also the perfect accompaniment to soups and consom's, white meat or blue fish, and especially tuna. Serve cold between 12° and 14° C.
